Intermountain Youth Championships
March 2 All day
Come celebrate spring and Nordic skiing at the Intermountain Division Youth Championships (IYCs), a fun two-day event for U16 and younger athletes. It is all about getting outside with your teammates and celebrating the spring! Competitions include a skate interval start, a skate flying downhill and a classic mass start.
Distances vary with age groups, from U8s – U16s. Top three skiers in each category will receive an award, along with a team award and sportsmanship awards for the skiers embodying the positive attributes of being a Nordic athlete in the Intermountain Division. And you can try out a laser biathlon!
Registration is through Zone4 and opens Thursday, January 30th, 6 pm. Regular registration closes Monday, February 24th at noon. Late registration closes Thursday, February 27th at noon.
