Come celebrate spring and Nordic skiing at the Intermountain Division Western Club Championships, a fun two-day event for athletes U10-U18. This weekend is all about getting outside with your teammates and enjoying the best of springtime skiing. Competitions include a USSA sanctioned individual skate race, a team sprint skate, and a classic pursuit.
Distances vary with age groups and disciplines. Saturday will be skate races, while Sunday will be classic races. The top five skiers in each category will be recognized and awarded at the end of each race.
Schedule for the weekend is as follows:
Friday, 3/13: Training Day
10:00 Race courses open for inspection. Mike Harris, Southern Valley
10:00 Race welcome tent open. Mike Harris, Southern Valley
4:00 Race welcome tent closes
5:00 Team Leaders meeting - TBD
Saturday 3/14: Individual / Skate
8:00 Race courses open
9:15 Course closes
9:30 Freestyle races start
12:00 - 1:00 - $5 Food for athletes & parents
1:30pm Team Sprint start
Sunday 3/15: Classic Pursuit
8:00 Race courses open
9:15 Course closes
9:30 Pursuit races start
Registration is through Zone4 and opens Friday, January 30th. Regular registration closes Monday, March 9th. Late registration (with a fee) closes 5pm, Wednesday, March 11th. Registration can be found HERE.

Venue notes: Per USFS, the Mike Harris Trailhead System is closed to dogs Dec. 15 - April 15.
